Editorial Policy
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
This page explains, in plain language, how the guides on ChatMeet.fun are made — so readers (and reviewers) can judge them fairly.
1. Who Writes the Guides
Guides are written with AI assistance and reviewed and edited by the ChatMeet.fun Editors team — the site's editorial team. Production transparency, plainly stated: AI tools help draft the text; human editors review, correct, and approve every guide before it is published, and the editors take responsibility for what is published. We do not invent named authors, fake credentials, or expert personas. If a guide ever carries a reviewer's name in the future, it will be a real person who actually reviewed that guide, named only with their permission. Until then, the byline stays exactly as it is: ChatMeet.fun Editors.
2. Original Content Only
Every guide is written originally for this site. We do not copy, spin, or reword other websites' articles, and we do not present anyone else's work as our own. Where a guide draws on widely known safety guidance (for example, how to spot a scam), it is rewritten in our own words and framed for this site's readers.
3. What Guides Are — and Are Not
Guides offer practical, general information about conversation skills, friendship, online safety, and language exchange. They are not professional advice: not medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. If a topic needs a professional (for example, dealing with harassment or a scam that cost you money), the guide says so and points you toward the right kind of help.
4. No Invented Facts
We do not publish invented statistics, fake studies, or made-up quotes. Advice is written from generally accepted practice (for example: listen more than you speak; never share passwords) and is labelled as advice, not as research findings. If a guide states a verifiable fact, it must be one the editors can stand behind.
5. Review and Corrections
- Before publishing: each guide is checked for accuracy, for a clear structure, and for compliance with this policy (no romance/dating angles, no invented people, no unsafe advice).
- After publishing: guides are re-checked when readers report an error or when advice becomes outdated. Corrections are made in the article itself; the updated date on the article changes when a correction is made.
- Report an error: use the contact form and mention the guide's title. We would rather fix a guide than defend a mistake.
6. What We Will Not Publish
- Dating, flirting, or romance advice — this site is about friendship, conversation, and safety, and it stays that way.
- Content that presents invented people as real.
- Advice that encourages sharing personal information, contacting strangers in unsafe ways, or evading safety measures.
- Paid placements presented as editorial content. If sponsored content ever appears, it will be labelled as sponsored — it does not today.
7. Advertising Separation
No advertising runs on the site today. If advertising is added in the future, it will be visually separated from guides and will never influence what a guide says.
